Hello Kitty 8

Sponges to bake, fill and frost.

Bake heart shape sponge.

Cut out heart shape.

Frost and chill.

Cover with pink fondant. Draw wines and stick fondant leaves on.

Place dowels in the cake - front one to support the weight of the heart cake - two dowels on the back are covered with fondant and will keep the cake under the angle when placed on top. Draw the wines and stick more fondant laves on.

Make your Hello Kitty.

Put it all together.

Angry Bird

My new friend said her boy likes the angry birds but especially green one.

I baked sponge in salad glass round bowl and this is the shape I managed'

Colour the fondant and cover the cake. I filled my cake with strawberry jam and vanilla frosting.

Follow the picture of character and cut out several dark green spots.

Create the face with eyes and bushy eyebrows. Make the tail and feathers for the top of it's head.

I propped the tail with spoon so it hardens in that position.

I made the beak on the end.

It looked good!

South Park

South Park

Prepare fondant pieces. They need drying for easier manipulation. As South Park's character are pretty symmetrical use cutters.

Bake and assembly the cake - I did chocolate sponges and chocolate frosting.

Frost the rest of the cake and chill in fridge.

Check for details.

Cover the cake with fondant and gently place the characters on the top. Use borders to fnish the bottom edge of the cake.
