Little glee cake

Little Glee cake.

The sponges were baked as usual with 200 g of self rising flour , 200 g of caster sugar, 200 g of butter ,3 table spoons of water and 3 medium eggs . Oven was preheated to gas mark 4 .
Up to 40 min baking time for each sponge. Make two chcolate ones by adding coco powder  -
1 table spoon . Make one plain one.

I prepared buttercream using 200 g of butter , 450 g of icing sugar and 5 table spoons of milk.
I used a tea spoon of lemon essence as well  to compliment the chocolate sponges.

Sponges were filled with buttercream and mixed fruit jam then  covered with buttercream and
yellow  icing.

Prepare cake topper. I found a company on the internet which printed my chosen image on the icing sheet -  Place topper on the cake gluing it on with buttercream.  Cut out notes using cutters and color those with black food color.

Complete the look of the cake with ribbon on the bottom edge.

Peppa pig

I had a request for a cake for three years old. It must have been Peppa pig.
